by Sir Kid
Twards west, aglow in gold
Aflame almost crimson, distant a hundredfold.
As this beauty sets down its light
Goes my wish of a pause from all this fight.
Like seeing this light before the dark
Are joys I wished to never depart.
But this, is what sunsets make me see,
beauty leaves and the bitter tangs of sorrow would fill me.
But this too, is what sunsets give,
Beauty returns and tomorrows are brighter, you just have to believe.
