GNPower offers support to Lanao del Norte
TUBOD, LANAO DEL NORTE — In an online conference attended by the provincial chief executive and other officials of the province on Tuesday, officers of GNPower Kauswagan discussed the company’s social responsibility program offering ‘green building materials’ (GBM) to the provincial government for the construction of basic infrastructure projects such as roads, schools, government multipurpose buildings, perimeter fences, among others, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility to help attain sustainable development and prosperity in the province.
Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo was joined by 1st District Representative, Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and Provincial Administrator Sittie Aminah Quibranza Dimaporo with the Department Officers from the Engineer’s Office, Planning and Development Office, Budget Office, and the Legal Office.
GNPower was represented by Community Relations personnel based in Kauswagan and an executive based in California.
GNPower Kauswagan offerEd assistance by providing cement and other green building materials for the construction of infrastructure projects initiated and implemented by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte in partnership with Republic Cement.
Governor Angging noted that the offer of GNPower would “help fast track the construction of basic infrastructure projects for the benefit of the people of the Province of Lanao del Norte.”
The Provincial Governor immediately instructed the concerned offices to prepare the needed documents and other requirements, particularly the lists of infrastructure projects for 2020 and 2021 and submit it to GNPower for the continuous operation of ongoing projects and the commencement of other programmed infrastructure projects.
The construction of other isolation facilities in the province and COVID-19 Testing Laboratory in old Kapatagan Provincial are at the top of the list of priority projects of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte. (PR)
